Kucoin recently experienced an embarrassing event when they tried to move the registration of the Kucoin.com domain. As seen in this Godaddy court dispute email, the company was unable to move the registration of the domain due to a legal court action. This means that Kucoin cannot officially transfer the Kucoin.com domain. A legal action was filed against moving domain by the Singaporean court, involving cybersecurity provide who is sueing the exchange.

Where is Kucoin Headquartered

Kucoin is a global cryptocurrency exchange with offices registered in Singapore, Seychelles and Hong Kong. In 2018, Kucoin stated that they were a global exchange without a “central office”. Officially the company is registered in Hong Kong – however, this office was later found to a “shell office” without any official employees or notable office activity.
